Gravity Jack Augmented Reality Completes Round One Of 'b.KIT' Submissions, Winners To Be Awarded Private Beta Version Of The Visual Search SDK

The American Augmented Reality leader will award winners with a Beta version of its highly-anticipated 'b.KIT' Visual Search and Augmented Reality SDK, allowing each vision to become a reality.

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash., Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In an announcement today, American augmented reality and visual search company, Gravity Jack, has completed round one of submissions in its competitive developer program and is expected to notify winners in the coming days. The company began accepting submissions in late December, allowing developers from all walks and industries to submit creative ideas for the company's powerful augmented reality and visual search technology. The company will provide each winning developer with an exclusive Beta version of the proprietary 'b.KIT' software development kit -- giving them the ability to make their concept a reality.

The competition comes well-timed, as augmented reality continues to establish itself as the future-tech for the coming years. While the increasingly active industry offers interested developers and brands a number of choices for augmented reality and visual search, Gravity Jack has quickly become the preferred outlet for many due to the powerful tools and capabilities the company's software provides.

"We saw an industry riddled with gimmicks and one-time use cases," says Luke Richey, Founder, President and CEO of Gravity Jack. "We set out to provide the world's best, most powerful AR but there's more to it than that. We wanted to give brands and developers the ability to really create long-term and powerful experiences, so we created infinite real-time visual search and one of the most powerful 3D engines, in an AR platform, ever to exist on mobile devices."

Winning developers in the b.KIT program will be given private access to this technology and the chance to have their work exposed to the world, becoming a sort of 'American Idol' in software development. At this point, the full capabilities of the 'b.KIT' SDK are confidential, however Richey provides a bit of a teaser about what developers may be equipped with.

"Once we were sure that we had created augmented reality and visual search that works better than anyone else's, we took a step back and approached it from a second, critical perspective: as a brand. We added unprecedented analytics, polling, e-commerce, geo-location, and more -- truly unlocking the full marketing, entertainment and engagement potential of this tech."

Already, it seems Gravity Jack's efforts have not been in vain. The company boasts a swelling portfolio, including some of the world's most established and household names and, according to CMO, Nick Pintler, there's even icing on the cake:

"The final move was creating all of our augmented reality and visual search with our own research and development, which means we're able to be far more competitive in the space. What we've experienced hasn't really been surprising -- people like unprecedented power and affordability."

Gravity Jack has announced it will be accepting applications for round two of the program, following the completion of round one. Interested parties can sign up for updates at or contact Gravity Jack regarding more specific inquiries at
