Carly Rae Jepsen Releases Tonight I'm Getting Over You Remixes Today

EP INCLUDES REMIXES FROM SHOWTEK, TWICE AS NICE, REID STEFAN, WAYNE G & LFB, AND KOKO FOR THE NEW SINGLE FROM THE MULTI-PLATINUM ARTIST'S TOP 10 DEBUT ALBUM KISS

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Grammy-nominated Pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen releases the Tonight I'm Getting Over You Remixes EP today at all digital partners. 

The album features remixes from Showtek, Twice As Nice, Reid Stefan, Wayne G & LFB, and Koko, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," which Jepsen co-wrote with producer Max Martin, is the new single from the singer/songwriter's debut album Kiss, which reached the Top Ten in the U.S. and Jepsen's native Canada, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the UK.  The stylish video, which already has over 11million YouTube views, was shot in downtown Los Angeles in late January and directed by Nathalie Canguilhem, who has also lensed clips for Uffie, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Nicole Scherzinger. Jepsen, who won a 2012 American Music Award for New Artist of the Year and named Billboard's 2012 Rising Star, was the breakout pop act of last year thanks to her ubiquitous single "Call Me Maybe," which has sold more than 10 million singles worldwide and climbed to No. 1 in more than 47 countries. It was the best-selling song of 2012 on iTunes and was nominated for 2013 Grammy Awards for both "Song of the Year" and "Best Pop Solo Performance."

Jepsen is set for an equally successful 2013. After supporting multi-platinum pop/R&B star Justin Bieber on tour in the U.S and Europe, Jepsen has partnered with the Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony program, which invites AMERICAN IDOL® fans and music lovers to participate in the once-in-a
lifetime opportunity to help Carly select the best lyrics for a new song. Fans can watch live as she performs the song during the first episode of the two-night AMERICAN IDOL® Season Finale on Wednesday, May 15 (8-9 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Through Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony fans can take part in the songwriting process and influence the show they love.
