CEO and Co-founder, Steve Goldstein hand-picked these executives based on their specific strengths, proven leadership, and deep relationships across a variety of entertainment communities, in order to further propel market growth for ZUUS Media.

ZUUS features the largest and most diverse catalogue of music videos where fans can also enjoy over 100 professionally curated channels featuring videos from all major labels and over 100 independents, behind-the-scenes access, original content, artist interviews and live performance footage. Newly Appointed ZUUS Media Executives:

Chris Gannett joins ZUUS Media as Chief Marketing Officer. In this position, he will focus on brand strategy and oversee product marketing and communications initiatives. Previously, Gannett was CMO of CORE Media Group, a fully integrated multi-media, management and production company, and home to hit television series American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, the iconic Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali brands, and the careers of Idol alumni plus Woody Allen, Billy Crystal and Robin Williams. Prior to CORE, Gannett led strategic marketing for Sony’s Commercial Music Group following a successful career in brand marketing with Publicis, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Nabisco.

Karma Gardner joins ZUUS Media as the VP of Strategic Sales after spending 12 years with Red Bull North American as founding Director the of its trend-setting Culture Marketing department, where she and her team managed over 300 experiences every year. Gardner is not only an expert in strategic marketing and content development, but was instrumental in the launch of Red Bull Music Academy, and responsible for forging some of Red Bull’s most visible brand partnerships in the United States. She brings her extensive knowledge of event and partnership experience to ZUUS.

Andrew Schiffman, a stand-out music programmer at MTV Networks for over a decade, joins ZUUS Media as VP of Music Programming and Artist Relations, responsible for all broadcast and digital video programming. At MTV, Schiffman advocated for emerging and established artists alike, incorporating acts ranging from The Black Keys, Young The Giant and Atlas Genius, to Green Day, Kasabian and Liam and Noel Gallagher. He also executive produced 120 Minutes and Headbangers Ball, and programmed marquee shows including Top 20 and Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan.

Eric Turpin, a successful distribution executive in the music and lifestyle space has been appointed as VP of Affiliate Relations. He joins ZUUS with over 20 years of experience and is credited with developing the distribution strategy and successful aggregation of television households that led to The Box Network’s acquisition by Viacom and subsequent rebranding to MTV2. Across his career, Turpin has been instrumental in securing long-term agreements with top Cable, Satellite and Telco companies, as well as emerging media leaders including Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu.

These newly appointed executives join an already noteworthy leadership team including:

  • Nikki Hirsch, VP of Music Strategy and Artist Relations, responsible for ZUUS Media’s positioning within the music landscape, and orchestrating artist-driven partnerships. Prior to ZUUS, Hirsch was Director of Music Strategy and Engagement at award-winning advertising agency Translation, where she spearheaded key initiatives for national clients including Target, McDonald’s, State Farm, Wrigley, Samsung and Lady Gaga, among others.
  • Jamie Donnenfeld, VP of Ad Operations, responsible for ZUUS Media’s advertising operations and analytics platforms and all day to day advertising execution. Prior to ZUUS, Donnenfeld led advertising and operations teams at Canoe Ventures, where she successfully launched the first National iTV and VOD campaigns. She has also held key roles at other pioneering start-ups, including Massive Incorporated and Joost, where she served the first dynamic advertisement within video games, on-line video and mobile devices.
  • Bruce Ledbetter, VP of Technology, responsible for the successful development and deployment of ZUUS Media’s digital presence and product. A seasoned leader with roots in mathematics and full development lifecycle, he was previously VP Technology for Viacom's BET Interactive where he led technical design, development and operations for the portfolio of products that comprise Ledbetter has been focused on developing Internet applications in the e-Commerce and Media and Entertainment space since 1995.
  • Brooke Emerson, VP of New Business Development. Previously, Emerson spearheaded innovative brand collaborations with Red Bull North America and worked previously at award-winning advertising agency Translation. At Translation, Emerson earned a reputation as an experienced strategist who led activations of large account programs including Wrigley’s re-launch and partnership with Chris Brown and the Red Bull Music Academy 5 Borough Tour.
