Treemo Adds Intermix/MySpace Co-Founder Brett Brewer to Its Board of Directors

Launches new TreemoTXT service on its mobile social media platform

SEATTLE, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Treemo announced today continued momentum with the addition of Intermix/MySpace co-founder and AdKnowledge president, Brett Brewer, to its Board of Directors. Treemo also officially launched TreemoTXT, a new feature that allows mobile users to set up a channel, send an SMS to Treemo (873366), and be instantly connected to any user's channel of content on its mobile social media platform.

"Treemo has the right technology, strategy, team and connections to take a leadership role in bringing user generated, multimedia content to the next level and makes it easily available across three screens -- mobile, Web and TV," said Brett Brewer, president of AdKnowledge and serial entrepreneur. "I look forward to working with the team to continue to build this business."

Mr. Brewer is a leading Internet pioneer with an influential voice in the dynamic, growing online advertising industry. He has built several Internet businesses since graduating from UCLA in 1996, the largest of which was Intermix Media which he sold to NewsCorp for $673 million in October 2005. In his latest venture at Adknowledge.com, Mr. Brewer is leading the growth of the behavioral based advertising company which was recognized as a Red Herring Top 200 Company for 2006. He is an angel investor in several technology start-ups and active in a number of community and charitable organizations including Big Brothers of Los Angeles and Bizworld.org, a children's education organization.

"We've built tremendous momentum over the last several months since launching Treemo.com, both with carrier relationships and customer traction," said Brent Brookler, founder and CEO of Treemo. "The addition of Brett to our board will further strengthen and enhance our ability to grow this business and deploy our content across broader platforms."

Mr. Brewer joins CEO, Brent Brookler, and COO Jeff Yee to the Treemo Board. Brookler was the founder of mobile gaming and entertainment company, Mobliss, who pioneered connecting mobile users with TV for American Idol, where fans could SMS to vote for their favorite Idol. Mobliss was sold to Index Corp. in 2000 for $15 million. Jeff Yee is a former executive at AT&T wireless and Cingular, where he was responsible for building and running mobile commerce.
